French Minor

Requirements for the French Minor

The minor requires a minimum of five courses above FREN 201, including one 300-level course. No more than one course taken credit/noncredit at Wellesley College may be applied to the minor. One course taken in English from the French and Francophone Studies curriculum can count towards the minor. All courses taken on the Wellesley-in-Aix or Bordeaux-before-Aix programs may count towards the minor, whereas courses taken on external study abroad programs are accepted on a case-by-case basis, subject to the Chair's prior approval. Courses taken at MIT may not be counted towards the French minor.
