Building on the foundation of Photo I, this intermediate course aims to strengthen students' conceptual photographic acumen while introducing students to digital cameras, color management in photography, digital retouching, lighting, inkjet printing, and basic Adobe digital production. Assignments address contemporary and historic theories of photography as contemporary art and the aesthetic and cultural implications of the ubiquity of digital photography. Students will work on project-based photography through cultivating conceptual and production skills.
